Nice Car's: Hyundai i30

Hyundai has tasted success with their 'i' range of cars in India, namely the i10 and the i20. Infact, with the i20, they have shown that Indians are now indeed ready to shell out extra money over other rivals for a premium package. The i30 could be the next one from Hyundai for the Indian market. We believe that the company might launch the i30 in India early next year at around a lakh more than the i20's sticker price. This means that the base version of the i30 should start around the Rs 6 lakh mark, going all the way to around Rs 8.5 for the top end diesel model. If launched in India, it will be the latest i30 version that has been showcased at the Frankfurt Motor Show. The newer version, as seen here, looks sleeker and modern as compared to the one on sale in international markets. It makes use of Hyundai's fluidic design philosophy that is now visible on products like the new Verna. The i30 is a huge product and will be longer and wider than the i20. That means that the i30 will have cabin space more than some of the sedans in the under Rs 10 lakh bracket in the Indian market. The cabin of the new i30, as seen here, is very modern and futuristic in design. Use of aluminum has been done at various places and like other Hyundai models, the i30 too will get blue backlightning for the dials and buttons at night. Knowing what Hyundai has done with the i20 in India, we expect the i30 to have both petrol and diesel engine options with both manual and automatic transmission on sale as well. The petrol range will include the 1.4-litre and 1.6-litre engines that are also seen on the new Verna. Likewise, the diesel options will also include the 1.4 and 1.6 engines seen on the new Verna Diesel. The top end i30 will come with multiple air-bags, ABS, alloy wheels, steering controls, electrically adjustable driver's seat etc. Pricing for the new Hyundai i30 in India, when launched, will be between Rs 6.5 to Rs 8 lakh, ex-showroom. The new i30 could signal the oncoming of the premium hatchbacks in India and only Hyundai can pull off something like this especially with the brand loyalty and the huge dealership range that it has in India. We are waiting with our fingers crossed for this one!
